I am an passionate educator and advocate who believes all children deserve a quality education. For the past 15 + years I have worked as a teacher, consultant, and leader at the local, state, and national levels in government and nonprofit sectors.

I believe in volunteering and contributing to the community. Typically, I volunteer in the public schools, and I've also enjoyed other experiences including serving as team captain for bringing the film Girl Rising to Lexington. The entire experience stemmed from an article I wrote for Cake and Whiskey Magazine.
